Three Most Powerful Immune System Defences
1. UV Light: Sunbathing
Three main health benefits of UV light exposure are: the production of vitamin D, which aids immunity and cell propagation, improvement in mood (serotonin), and increased energy. In 1882, German physician and scientist Robert Koch discovered that the bacteria, caused by tuberculosis, died when left in sunlight within several minutes to several minutes of direct sunlight. If set by the window (diffused sunlight), it died within 5-7 days. By 1903, a Danish physician Finsen had treated several hundred tuberculosis patients with ultraviolet light from the arc lamps he had invented, an endeavour for which he was awarded the Nobel Prize. The arc from the lamp emitted light with a similar spectrum to sunlight. Sanatoriums offering heliotherapy (the treatment of illness with sunlight) sprang up across Europe and America and remained a mainstream treatment method until the mid of 20th century.
Heliotherapy How to: Expose your skin to sunrays, alternating front and back of your body. Unless you have to be in very hot sun for prolonged period of time, do not use sunscreen, when sunbathing – as it will block the UV light. If this cannot be done outside, do it in in a sunny room behind a window. Avoid the indecent exposure, and use a good judgement on the length and temperature that is safe for your skin type.
How Much Is Enough?
Dr. Michael Holick, a professor of medicine, physiology and biophysics at the Boston University, suggest that a 10-15 min a day, between 11 a.m. and 3 p.m., sunbathing session, with explosion of most of your bare arms, legs, abdomen and back for will provide your body with enough vitamin D for the day. Dr. Holick states that the time of the day is important and states, that if a shadow is longer than your body, you cannot make vitamin D. He developed an app that may assist you in determining the exact amount and time of the day, based on your latitude and your skin and body type. 2. Stabilized Oxygen
In order for viruses to spread throughout the body, they need to attach themselves to the body cells. When there is abundant oxygen in the body, cells flow freely, including white blood cells, and viruses will have much harder time attaching to them. Freely flowing blood will also be removing viruses more effectively, and white blood cells will be able to engulf them, too.
Healthy blood cells are ‘”floating” freely and gently bouncing off each other (White blood cell in the middle)
This image of live blood sample is called aggregation, or “blood sludge.” (Due to lack of oxygen, the cells stick to each other)
TIP: You can use oxygen internally, by adding liquid oxygen to your water on a regular basis. You can also do so via active movement in the fresh air. Just a walk will not bring oxygen to deeper level as a 5-7 min jog per day. Your body needs to have a load, in order for the lungs to inject oxygen into the respiratory system in greater quantities. After a run you may feel your nose starting running – this is a sign that your lymph system got activated and started removing toxins. Have a handkerchief with you, when you run.
Diet and Blood Health
In addition to poor oxygenation, there are other factors contributing to the formation of the “blood sludge”: too much cooked foods and animal protein in diet, low digestive capacity, poor chewing, dehydration, consumption of processed foods, high sugar and/or refined carbohydrates, prescription/street drugs, alcohol, smoking, heavy metals. So keep your diet healthy:
- Eat green smoothies and fresh green salads daily
- Include plenty of fermented foods (sauerkraut, gut shots, juice from fermented pickles) and “brush foods”, such as raw cabbage, carrots, beets and Daicon radish. They will nourish your good bacteria, as well as will assist in elimination of toxins.
- Cut down on or eliminate during pandemics sugar, breads, pasta, meats, milk and cheeses. Eat more whole foods. Include beans 2-3 times per week, regularly consume nuts & seeds + take some green supplements and protein powder to ensure sufficient protein.
- Eat early and light suppers. This will prevent food putrefaction and fermentation overnight.
- Hydrate well: drink 2 lit of purified water daily
All of the above will ensure that your body detoxifies properly and functions well.
3. Energetic Bodies Immunity
We all consist of physical and the non-physical bubbles around us (= auras). The simplest way to feel your energetic body is to rub both palms of your palms together, and then holding one of them just slightly above your arm, slowly move it up and down the other arm. Most people will be able to feel warmth, coming from their ether body. You also likely to have seen the energetical mental aura, depicted on the ancient image of saints as halos around their head…
Unless people are trained in how to deal with negative emotions, when confronted with negativity, fear, traumatic experience, their “bubbles” are being punctured. The physical body will reflect these punctures in paleness of the skin, legs getting wobbly and IBS symptoms. In cases of extreme energetic drain, a person may even faint. You may recall how after a negative confrontation or hearing a bad news you have felt exhausted.
Most powerful way to build energetic bodies’ immunity, sometimes called “thick skin”, emotional resilience, coping skills is to face the fear twice a day in your shower. Finish your shower with turning the water to a cold setting and pouring it on your entire body, starting from the head – this will improve your circulation, boost immune system and, most importantly, will release negativity from your energetical bodies. I know, this is really dreadful as you think about it, because most of us are such warmth lovers. But think about a deer or other wild animal you enjoy watching, fully adaptable to their world, though having so many more bacteria and viruses, while we live in a sterilized world, full of sniffles and snuffles.
