Who Am I?
Janine began her career as a BCRPA certified fitness instructor in 1980 and has continued to develop her skills as an instructor over the past 35+ years. She is committed to helping others in their quest for health and fitness by offering programs that consider the seven components of holistic health including mental, spiritual, social, emotional, occupational, environmental and physical health.
Janine believes physical health interacts with all the other components of holistic wellness and wants to help all individuals reach their own personal goals in health and wellness. She offers classes that take into consideration age, health and fitness level. Exercise is for everyone and should be fun. Janine used her classes to infuse her love of music and dance, which may include drumming or Zumba.
When Janine is not teaching fitness classes, she loves to travel with family and friends. Her hobbies include downhill skiing, cross country skiing, golf, hiking, biking, bowling, kayaking, paddle board, fishing, snorkeling, gardening, dancing, reading and her pets. She continues to work in this community as a Family Support Worker as well with Princess Cruise Lines as a Youth Counsellor.
